Security

Please be aware that if you are being contacted by anyone claiming to be CASHU support on MSN, Yahoo, Gtalk, Skype, etc it is a fraud attempt. Do never give out your login details (username & password) or the Ticket ID you submitted through the support system, or Refill coupon details to anyone!

Email Fraud/Phishing

CASHU will never send you an email asking for confidential information such as account numbers, passwords, or personal information. Please report phishing fraud by forwarding the suspicious message to us, by clicking the (Contact Support) link on the left side menu of this page.

Password-Change Policy

At CASHU, we take the security of your account very seriously.

We upgrade our online security on a continuous basis to ensure that our customers are always protected. Our latest security policy requires you to update your password every three months, failing which your password will expire, unless you update your password within that period.

If your password has expired, please check your email entered in your CASHU profile. A new temporary password will be sent to your email address. Login to cashu.com, enter the temporary password issued, and enter a new password that you would like to create.

Online Security Tips

Keep user names and passwords secret.

Do not use obvious characters for your CASHU password like your date of birth, or the last four digits of your phone number as these can be easily guessed.

Use only secure Internet browsers that allow secure transmission of data. Identify security clues such as the " closed lock " icon at the bottom of the browser or a URL that begins with https://. These signs indicate that only you and the merchant can view payment information. Only enter CASHU account number and password when you confirm a purchase.

Keep a record of transactions.

Never respond to an email request for personal or account information, even if appears to be from a trusted source.
